Update 4th May

First silverware of the year collected by National Automation Limited Minors who won the Division 3 league by defeating Kilbride in Tulsk on Friday evening. They had won the semi-final earlier in the week when they travelled to Ballyforan and overcame a strong St Aidan’s. Their league win means that they are promoted to Division 2 for championship purposes. They have a bye in the first round of the championship, which means that they won’t see championship action until late June. Congratulations to the boys and the management team.

U12s beat Kilmore in the Division 5 Spring League in the Abbey Park on Friday. They will play Elphin in the next round of this competition on Friday next in the Abbey Park at 7pm.
The U14 Division 4 team lost to St Croan’s in their league outing in Boyle on Thursday. They are scheduled to play Michael Glaveys in their next game in this competition in Abbey Park on Thursday next at 7pm.

U16s beat a spirted Kilglass Gaels/Tarmonbarry team in the league semi-final on Bank Holiday Monday.

The Cooney Motors/ Cooney’s Centra Juniors defeated a strong St. Barry’s outfit in the Division 5 league. Their next outing is  Junior B Championship first round versus St. Faithleachs on Friday the 15th of May at 8pm in the Abbey Park.

The McGovern Directional Drilling Seniors will commence their 2015 Senior Championship campaign on Sunday next in O’Rourke Park at 3.30pm against Castlerea, St Kevins. Maximum support will be appreciated for this important fixture.
