Update 23rd May

Eddie Brady and Niamh and Shane Caslin were €20 winners in the last Club Lotto draw which was held in Daly’s Bar and Lounge. The house prize was won by Ann Keenan. The jackpot wasn’t won and it will be at a new record of €11,600 for next Saturday night’s draw which will be held in the Moylurg Inn. Team A will be in charge. We encourage those who wish to be in with a chance to win this massive prize to look out for our ticket sales boxes in most business premeises in Boyle.

Our U12S had another successful week in their respective leagues, with the Division 5 team playing an exciting draw with Kilmore in the Abbey Park on Friday evening, and the Division 1 team having a good win over Clan na Gael at the same venue on Sunday.

Our Cooney Motors sponsored U14 Division 4 team lost to Michael Glaveys in a high scoring league game played in Ballinlough on Thursday evening last. They will play St Brigids in their next outing on this Tuesday evening at 8.15pm. This will be the second game of a double header as the Division 1 team will play St Brigids first team at 7pm. The winners of this game are scheduled to play Padraig Pearses in the league semi final on Saturday next.

The Cooney Motors/ Cooney’s Centra Juniors will commence their Junior B Championship campaign versus Fuerty in Tulsk on Friday evening next at 8pm. Support will be appreciated. Their league game versus Clan na Gael which was scheduled for last week has been postponed until 21st June.
The McGovern Directional Drilling seniors are scheduled to play their next O’Rourke Cup game on Saturday week 4th June when they will entertain St Brigids in the Abbey Park.

Well done to Roscommon Senior Footballers and to our representative Sean Purcell on their Championship win over Leitrim.

Ladies Football

Well done to Intermediate ladies who defeated St. Croan's in the league on Saturday last.
