Update 8th May

Sean Brid Donohue and Martina McDonagh were €20 winners at the most recent Club Lotto draw which was held in Dodd's Bar. The jackpot wasn’t won. The house prize was won by Amy Challoner. It will be at €1,800 for the next draw on Saturday May 13th which will be held in the An Craobhin Bar, with Team Two in charge. 

The McGovern Directional Drilling sponsored senior team were defeated by Western Gaels in the opening game of their championship on Sunday last. Their next game is against Roscommon Gaels in the championship next Friday May 12th in KIlbride at 8pm.

The minor were defeated in the Division 3 league Semi Final against St Dominics last week.

Congratulations are extended to Diarmuid Sutton on his success in the Community Games, claiming a bronze medal at the national finals.

The club extends sympathies to the Donohue family Kilmore on the passing of Mary.

LADIES FOOTBALL:

Congratulations to  Boyle U16 Ladies who are Div 1B Co. Champions. They beat St. Brigids on a scoreline of Boyle 6-13 St Brigids 5-08. A very competitive match with great football played by both teams. Well done girls on a great team performance. Thanks to the Management team of Kieran, Adrian, Mary and Monica for their commitment. Thanks to all players, parents, supporters and sponsors Corrib Oil.

Green Vetinary Intermediate Ladies lost to Shannon Gaels in Round 5 of the League.

U12 girls lost to Padraig Pearses in Round 1 of the Championship on a scoreline of 3-0 to 4-02.  U12 Round 2 of the Championship is v's Clann na nGael on Monday 15th May @ 7pm in the Abbey Park.


U14s start their league campaign on Wednesday 10th May @ 7pm in Johnstown.
