It was a disappointing weekend for the Mc Govern Directional Drilling Senior side who lost to St Brigids to see the, bow out of this years championship. For full match repost see the sports section. the team now face Clann na Geal next weekend in Championship and also have a number of league games to play.

In ladies football

The ladies lost to St . Brigids on Saturday evening. Details of their  round match against St. Mary's Tulsk tbc.

U14 Div 1B Co final will be on 23rd Sept v's Shannon Gaels. Time and venue tbc.

Boyle Ladies Committee have Roscommon County Board LGFA confined draw tickets to sell. Proceeds of the draw go towards the development of football across all age groups. Tickets are €50 and cover 26 draws.  €500 to be won every 2 wks (€350 to the winner and €150 to the selling club).
