Next Saturday night Boyle GAA will hold an
additional draw for all €5 lotto entries sold this week.
Prize: 2 match tickets for the Roscommon v Dublin Super 8 game in Croke
Park with overnight hotel stay in Dublin. Draw will be in conjunction
with our lotto and will be held next Saturday night (July 13) with the €10,600
lotto draw in Dodds. Envelopes available in the usual local outlets.
Pitch activity was quiet this week with only the Senior Ladies. They were out twice
this week as part of their Intermediate Championship campaign. First they met
St Dominic’s on Monday evening and beat them 0:13 to 1:09 with some brilliant
play throughout the field. On Sunday evening they travelled to Athleague to
face St Ciaran’s - a hot day which made for a difficult game. With an
incomplete outfit they fought hard, won some incredible ball and popped some
great points. Unfortunately it wasn’t their day, at full time it ended up Boyle
1:16 to St Ciaran’s 7:06. That leaves the Ladies with one win and two losses so
far in the Championship but all is still to play
Following the Cul Camp in Abbey Park last week the ‘lost and found ‘ department
has become quite packed. If your child is missing an item of clothing etc
please arrange to collect it this week.
Our junior team will take on Castlerea this Tuesday at 8 pm in Castlerea in a
must win leave match, support as always appreciated.
