Update 7th December

 AGM
The senior club AGM was held online on Friday night. The following are the club officers for the upcoming year. Chair: David Kelly, Secretary: Jan Flanagan, Assistant Secretary: Michael Tormey, Treasurer: Ray Hannon, Vice Treasurer: Colin O'Sullivan, Registrar: Steve Tonry, PRO: Roch Hanmore, Irish Language & Culture Officer: Steve Tonry, Players rep: Marc O'Connor. Cian Smith was ratified as senior manager with Mark O'Connor being ratified as junior manager. It was a very successful and well-attended meeting in what was a very unique format! Whilst it was online there was still opportunity for discussion and input from all in attendance. Special acknowledgement and thanks was given to Mary Clifford who stepped aside from her role as Club registrar. Mary has held various executive positions and has given so much service to the club over the years and she was advised to always be on standby in an advisory capacity! Thank you Mary. Thanks to all members that attended and best of luck to all officers, particularly those assuming new roles.

Condolences
Boyle GAA offer our heartfelt condolences to our current treasurer Ray Hannon on the passing of his father Michael. As a mark of respect the Eastern Harps Gaa flag was at half mast at the Abbey Park. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Congratulations
Congratulations to current senior player Sean Purcell and his wife Caitriona on the birth of their son, Seánín.

Go raibh maith agaibh go léir!
A short word of thanks to all that assisted me in my role as PRO over the year, but in particular to Sean O'Dowd from realboyle.com, Brian Nerney from boyletoday.com and Ian Cooney from the Roscommon Herald. Best of luck to Roch Hanmore who now assumes the position of club PRO.

Táim ag glacadh ról Oifigeach Cultúir agus Teanga sa chlub. Má tá aon smaointe ag duine ar bith faoi na rudaí ba chóir don chlub a dhéanamh chun an Ghaeilge a chur chun cinn go háirithe, déan teagmháil liom! Go raibh maith agaibh go léir, Stiofán Ó Thonraí (Steve Tonry).
