Update 25th June


There was no winner of this weeks jackpot of €5,200. €20 winners were Sandra McCann, Brian Furey and Treasa McQuaid. Next weeks draw will take place in Wynne's Bar. He numbers drawn were  7,23,30,31.

Boyle GAA wish good luck to Boyle Feile team who take part in this weekend Feile Peile na nOg 2018. The feile team is Boyle boys U14’s, having qualified last winter. The lads under the stewardship of Noel Casey, Jim McGrath Brendan Doherty Steve Garvin have put in the hard graft with intensive training over the last 6 months. We like to thank the feile committee who have put in the hard work to get the lads there, and Cooney's for their sponsorship. On the ladies front, congratulations to Roscommon Intermediate Ladies, especially Boyle player Roisin Wynne,  who won the Connacht Intermediate Final.
Intermediate ladies  Championship match round 1 is scheduled for 1st July. Details tbc.

Update 18th June


There was no winner of this week's club lotto. The numbers drawn were 7, 24, 26 & 31. €20 winners were Dermot Hayden, Andrew Beirne and Anne Kavanagh. Next week's draw will take place in Kate Lavins and the jackpot will be €5,100. 

There were no senior games to report from the week past, there will be a Junior match this coming Sunday at 2pm in Boyle against Oran. 


On the ladies front, the u14 lost to St. Brighids in the league semi final. Well done to all the u12s who competed in a county blitz on Friday. Best of luck to the Roscommon Intermediate Ladies, especially Roisin Wynne, who play Sligo in e Connaught Final in Castlebar on Sunday 24th of June.


Hard luck to the boys u12 Division 1 team who lost the shield semi final to Padraig Pearses on the score line of 16 points to 10.

Update 11th June


It was a quite week on the pitch this week.

First off the Cooney Motors sponsored Junior team travelled to Kilmore for a league encounter. It was a tight game of which Boyle were ahead for the majority of the game by only a couple of points at a time. Boyle player manager Stephen Tonry scored a goal in the latter quarter which helped Boyle scrape out a one point victory. This result sees them Jon top of the league table and having won all their championship to date.
Their next encounter is this Saturday evening in the Abbey Park 6.30 pm V S Brigids in Championship.the Boyle team was D Mc Govern, M Mullins, C Beirne, C Horan, J Moran, B Furery, R Conroy, S Tonry., C Goldrick, C Derry, S Battles, L Conboy, S Conlon, Marc O Connor and J mc Cannn.

There was no underage boys match to report this week.


The Ladies U 14 League semi final V St Brigids on Tuesday at 7 pm in Kiltoom.


Congratulations to Danielle Gaffney and Stephen Gannon on their wedding at the weekend.


Congratulations also to Cian McKeon on his man of the match performance which helped Roscommon u20 into the Connaught final.
