Club Lotto   

   

Christmas bumper draw   

Thanks to all who supported the Christmas bumper draw held on the 23rd of December. Congratulations to Gratiana Lyons who was the winner of the €1,000 prize 
There was no winner of the Jackpot on the Wednesday the 23rd and it now stands at €6,900. 

Numbers drawn were 5,6,11 & 20 

Boyle GAA Lotto tickets available either online or from one of the venues in town (Elphin St dry cleaners, Londis, Better Buys, Corrib Oil).  

Next Lotto Draw will be Sunday 3rd January 2021. Every Sunday thereafter as normal.

Connacht Champions 

The Roscommon Minor team were victorious on St. Stephens Day in the Connacht Final against Sligo at the Connacht Centre of Excellence. The game was played in stormy conditions, but a gallant Roscommon side came through strong on a low scoring affair of 1.05 to 1.02. Boyle had club representatives Luke McGrath and Conor McPherson on the Roscommon Panel and Oisin Cregg scoring the games opening point and claiming a Man of the Match award. 

Well done to all involved. They now play Kerry in the Semi final with venue and date yet to be decided. 

The U-16 Co Championship  

 The U-16 County Final is scheduled to take place the 2nd week of February.

Would you believe it? We are down to the last 2 in our last man and woman standing. 

Killian Egan and Karen Waters both outstanding at the top of the table. We may have to go to penalties. Stay tuned for the winner!

Condolences
Boyle GAA Club would like to express our heartfelt condolences to the Regan Family on the death of Sheila Regan. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Club Lotto

There were no winners of the Boyle GAA Lotto was held on Sunday night at 9pm, 13th of December. The numbers were 5,6,22,26. The Jackpot is now at €6,800 for this Wednesdays Christmas draw. There was no draw held on Sunday night the 20th December.

Results/Fixtures

Well done to the County Minors on their win over Galway in the Semi-Final on Friday night. Final score was 2-13 to 0-11. The Connacht Final will take place against Sligo on the Weekend of the 9th/10th January. Well done to our 3 representatives Oisin Cregg (Minor Vice Captain), Luke McGrath and Conor McPherson.

Update 7th December

 AGM
The senior club AGM was held online on Friday night. The following are the club officers for the upcoming year. Chair: David Kelly, Secretary: Jan Flanagan, Assistant Secretary: Michael Tormey, Treasurer: Ray Hannon, Vice Treasurer: Colin O'Sullivan, Registrar: Steve Tonry, PRO: Roch Hanmore, Irish Language & Culture Officer: Steve Tonry, Players rep: Marc O'Connor. Cian Smith was ratified as senior manager with Mark O'Connor being ratified as junior manager. It was a very successful and well-attended meeting in what was a very unique format! Whilst it was online there was still opportunity for discussion and input from all in attendance. Special acknowledgement and thanks was given to Mary Clifford who stepped aside from her role as Club registrar. Mary has held various executive positions and has given so much service to the club over the years and she was advised to always be on standby in an advisory capacity! Thank you Mary. Thanks to all members that attended and best of luck to all officers, particularly those assuming new roles.

Condolences
Boyle GAA offer our heartfelt condolences to our current treasurer Ray Hannon on the passing of his father Michael. As a mark of respect the Eastern Harps Gaa flag was at half mast at the Abbey Park. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam. 

Congratulations
Congratulations to current senior player Sean Purcell and his wife Caitriona on the birth of their son, Seánín.

Results/Fixtures
We await updates on whether outstanding underage fixtures will be played this side of Christmas, seeing that we have exited Level 5 restrictions. Please keep up to date through our social media.

Lotto
The draw was held online on Sunday night. Numbers drawn were 4,15,23 and 31. There was no jackpot winner. There were three match 3 winners, Gabriel Lavin, David Lavin and Joan Flynn. Well done to all! The jackpot rises to €6700 next week so give it a go!
