Update 16th March

The GAA, An Cumann Camógaíochta and the Ladies Gaelic Football Association have suspended all activity at club, county, and educational levels until March 29 due to Covid-19.

This is to include all games, training and team gatherings at all ages and all grades. As such, there is very little activity to report this week!

Lotto:
This week's lotto draw did take place on Sunday night, albeit behind closed doors in the clubhouse and was posted online.

The numbers drawn were: 7, 16, 23 and 31.

There was no winner of the jackpot. The weekly prize winners were: Vincent McDonagh and Jonathan and Niamh Wynne.

There will be no Lotto draw until further notice.

Update 9th March

Senior Club:
The Cooney Motors/ Cooney's Centra sponsored Boyle Junior team got their Division Four League campaign underway with a home game on Sunday v  St. Michael's first team. The team lost a hard-fought battle against their local rivals on a scoreline of 0-13 to 2-10. Some poor shot selection let the home side down in the first half but there were a lot of encouraging signs. If our junior team continue with the same effort they showed Sunday and improve concentration levels, they should build on last year's successful campaign. The team was:
1 Kyle Sweeney
2 Adam Simon
3 Conor Boylan
4 Jonny Regan
5 Ben Kerins
6 Colin Goldrick
7 Tomas Demeter
8 Jim Suffin
9 Cathal Feely
10 Conor Tivnan
11 Kelvin Morris
12 Jack Moran
13 Michael Tormey
14 Tiernan Henry
15 Declan McGovern
with Sean Mullins and Liam McKeon both coming on in the second half.

Minor Club:
Thanks to Roscommon captain Enda Smith who made medal presentations to the 2019 U12 Division 5 League and Championship winners, and the U13 Feile Division 2 winners from January on Saturday evening in the club rooms. This was a well attended event and we hope the lads continue to build on their recent success.

Ladies Club:
In the U16 League, the Boyle v St Barry's game scheduled for Sunday was postponed.

Lotto:
The numbers drawn in the lotto draw on Saturday night were Draw 1: 22, 21, 12, 19 and Draw 2: 19, 17, 11, 21. There was no jackpot winner. The weekly winners were Seamus Cooney, James Hannon and Jimmy McGee. Next week’s jackpot is €4100, and the draw will be held in the Moylurg.

Registration is now due for all players and will be taken up on next Friday evening March 13th, 6.30pm to 8.30pm in Club Room.
