The following were 20 winners in the last Club Lotto draw which
was held Clarke’s Bar;- Gerry Cregg, Ernie Keenan, Lorcan Egan, Eddie
Creighton, John Gallagher and Veronica Tonry. The house prize was won by Tom
Battles. The jackpot wasn’t won and it will be at €8,700 for next Saturday
night’s draw which will be held in The Patrick’s Well. Team B will be in
charge.
It was a busy week on the playing fields with action at U12, U14, minor and
junior grades.
The U12s had a big win over St Croans in Enfield on Wednesday evening last.
They are scheduled to play Kilmore on Friday next in the Abbey Park at 7pm in
the Division 5A League.
The U14 Div 1 team lost to Oran in a high scoring game in the Abbey Park on
Thursday evening last. Their next league outing is scheduled against St Brigids
in the Abbey Park on Thursday evening next at 7pm.
The U14 Division 4 team had a big win over Clan na Gael in Johnstown on
Wednesday last. They are also scheduled to play play St Brigids Division 5 team
in the Abbey Park on Thursday evening next. Details of both U14 fixtures will
be confirmed.
The National Automation Limited Minors played out a very exciting draw against
Western Gaels/Ballinameen, after extra time in the Abbey Park on Monday evening
last in the Division 3 league. The Boyle went to Frenchpark on Friday evening
and won the replay in another high scoring game.
They are scheduled to play St Aidan’s in the next game in this competition on
Monday evening.
The Cooney Motors/ Cooney’s Centra Juniors had good win over Fuerty in Mulhern
park on Friday evening last in the Division 5 League. Their next outing is
scheduled for Monday next 4th May (Bank Holiday) against St Barrys in the Abbey
Park.
The McGovern Directional Drilling seniors are in preparation for their
Championship outing with Castlerea St Kevins, which has been fixed for
Castelrea at 3.30pm on Sunday week 10th May.
Football supporters in Boyle are advised to get their Club Rossie draw tickets
immediately so that they will be included in the draw which will be held shortly.
Tickets may be got from Mike Junior Smith, Draw Co-Ordinator or any of the Club
officers. Now that Roscommon football is going so well, it is essential that
the good work is continued through participation in Club Rossie.
The Club is anxious to hear from new or lapsed members who wish to participate
in the Club’s own Club Lotto. Participants may join by completion of a direct
debit mandate or by payment of an annual contribution of €120. Details may be
had from Club Treasurer James O’Boyle or from any Club officer.
The Club is organising a clothes collection during the next few weeks. Please
contact Club officers to make arrangements for taking in of bags of clothes.
Congratulations are extended to the Roscommon Senior team and management on
their excellent National League Division 2 Final in Croke Park on Sunday.

this year’s Third Level Colleges Rising Stars team.

The U-12’s are away to Eire Og this Wednesday at 7pm. Best wishes
to Aine, Roisin, Ruth and Sinead who are in the U-16 Roscommon panel playing
Sligo this Wednesday and to Sinead Keenahan who is part of the management team.
