Update 17th April

The McGovern Directional Drilling Seniors suffered a defeat to a stronger Strokestown in the Division 1 league played in the Abbey Park on Sunday last. Their next outing is against Oran in the Division 1 league this Sunday in Rockfield, at 2pm.

The National Automation Minors were defeated by Western Gaels in the Division 3 league last week. They play St. Croan's in the Division 3 league this Friday in the Abbey Park, at 7pm.

The U-14's Cooney Motors/Cooney Centra defeated Padraig Pearses in the Division 1 league in Woodmount on Thursday last. They play Roscommon Gaels in the Division 1 league this Thursday in the Abbey Park, at 7pm.
The James Lannon Tyre Centre U-16's play Eire Og in the Division 3 league playoff this Tuesday in the Abbey Park, at 7pm.

The U-12's play St. Brigid's in the Division 1 league on Saturday at 12pm. The U-12's Division 4 team host St.Brigid's Division 4 team at 1:30pm. Both games to be played in the Abbey Park.

Don’t forget that the Club is currently holding a “Cash for Clobber” collection. We want sealed bags of old clothes (clean), old footwear and mobile phones-separate bags for footwear and mobiles). The proceeds will go towards purchase of new jerseys for our young players. We encourage every parent to do a “spring clean” and bring bags to the Clubroom NO LATER THAN SATURDAY NEXT 23RD APRIL. The Clubrooms will be open from 11am on Saturday. Bags can be deposited by arrangement with any of our team managements at training times.

Members of Boyle GAA Clubs (Male and Female clubs) who are currently secondary school students are advised that applications are currently being sought by the County Board Gaeltacht Scholarships valued at €200. Applications can be downloaded from the “Culture” section on www.gaaroscommon.ie . Entries must be accompanied by an essay as Gaeilge entitled “An Cumann Lúthchleas Gael sa bhliain 2016”, and the closing date is 29th April.

Ladies Football


The U-16's were defeated by Clann na nGael in the 1A Championship semi-final on Sunday last.  The club would like to thank Vinnie, Tom and the entire panel for the fantastic effort that was put in all year. A big thank you to all the parents for there help and assistant too.

The U-12's play Elphin/Kilmore in the league this evening Monday in Elphin at 7pm.
