and Monica Gilmartin and Tom McKeon were €20 winners in the most recent Club
Lotto draw which was held in Creighton’s. The house prize was won by Michael
Kerins. The jackpot wasn’t won and it will be at another new record of €11,500
for next Saturday night’s draw which will be held in Daly’s Bar and Lounge.
Team E will be in charge. Tickets may be purchased in many outlets in Boyle.
The McGovern Directional
Drilling Seniors had a convincing win in the first round of the Hodson Bay
Hotel Group Senior Football Championship over Castlerea St Kevins in Abbey Park
on Sunday. Thanks to all who assisted in the tidy up of the Clubroom and
grounds in advance of the game. Thanks also to all who assisted with the
successful hosting of the game on Sunday.
The James Lannon Motor Works
U16s were defeated by a much stronger St Aidans in the Division 3 League on
Sunday evening in Kilbride. Although beaten, the lads and their management team
have had a successful season in reaching the final and they have the
championship to look forward to.
Thanks is extended to Tony and
Declan McGovern of McGovern Directional Drilling for the excellent work done on
clearing the northern end of the training pitch at the Abbey Park.
Sympathy is extended to Marian
McGovern, Maple Drive on the death of her brother Oliver Martin, Ballyconnell.

Well done to the Senior Ladies who defeated St.
Faithleach's in the league on Saturday last.
U-12's play St Brigid's in the Abbey Park on Tues at 7.30pm.
U-14's play St Ciaran's in the Abbey Park on Wednesday at 7pm.
