Update 22nd August

Boyle U-12's are currently going through a very busy schedule. The Division 1 team had Summer League victories over Strokestown and St Brigid's and a one-point win over Clan na nGael in an exciting high scoring game. Our U-12 Division 5 team defeated Kilglass Gaels and lost to St Brigid's by one point in their Summer League.

Our U14s are scheduled to play Padraig Pearses in the Division 1 Championship on this Thursday in Páirc an Phiarsaigh at 7pm.

The National Automation Limited minors play Michael Glaveys on this Monday at 7.30pm in Ballinlough in the Division 3 Championship, and they will host Western Gaels on this Thursday at 7.30pm in the next round of their championship.

The McGovern Directional Drilling Seniors lost to Clan na nGael in monsoon-like conditions in the Abbey Park on Saturday evening. They will meet the same opposition in the final group game of the Hodson Bay Hotel Group Senior Championship in Enfield (St Croans grounds, Ballintubber) on Saturday at 6.45pm. We urge all our supporters to come along and support the lads.

The Club is delighted and honoured that Boyle has been chosen as the venue for the final round of the M Donnelly GAA Interprovincial Wheelchair Hurling League. The event will be held in Boyle Sports Complex on Saturday. The opening ceremony will be held at 10.15am and the games will begin at 11am. The competition comprises of panels of both male and female players. The Connacht panel of ten players includes Fergal Mahon and Sarah Cregg from Western Gaels.  One of the coaches is Roscommon player Cathal Cregg. Boyle Club member and Roscommon County Board delegate to the Connacht GAA Games for All Committee, Barry Lowe, is responsible for co-ordinating this Wheelchair Hurling Interprovincial in Boyle. Barry is asking Club members to assist on the day. Admission is free and all are welcome to come along and support the Connacht team in its quest to win the interprovincial title.

LADIES FOOTBALL:

Well done to the Minors who defeated St. Croan's in the championship over the weekend. The U-14's play Elphin/Kilmore in Kilmore this evening at 7pm.
