big and got his body to the bottom corner to save and Boyle were let off the
hook to win by a a margin of two points on the score line of 1.12 to 0.13.
Boyle team R Kearney, K Cox, C Flannagan, A Simon, T McKenna, M O Connor, E

and A Sharkey. With C McKeon, S Purcell, C Goldrick, K Cox and R Hanmore all

Boyle GAA Boys Youths Weekly Notes:
Boyle's U16 Lannon Motors Boys were unlucky
to be beaten by their visiting opponents Clann na Gael on a cold and dark
Tuesday evening in the Division 1 League at Abbey Park. Despite Clann scoring
an early goal, Boyle were the better side in the first half and lead at
break. Clann came out strong in the 2nd and managed to claw back the
deficit. Both teams played some great football and were evenly matched, but
Clann were able to secure the win with a small 2 point margin. Boyle 1-06 :
Clann na nGael 2-05.
