Update June 6th

 Lotto Results 

The Online Lotto was drawn on the 5th of June , 2022 for €14,200.   

The numbers drawn were 2 , 21 ,29 & 32 

We had 1 matching 3 winner with  Hannah Snowdon winning €100.  The jackpot was not won. 

(( The jackpot was not won and now stands at €14,300 for next weeks draw, the 12th June at 9pm. ))  

Th club are putting together lotto teams again and will have a roster of every 4 months for teams so its not very frequent  and will help out the club. Contact us if you are interested in joining a team.

The McGovern Civils Senior Mens beat St Brigids on Friday in the O’Rourke Cup  

Well done to the U14 Girls on their brilliant win over Shannon Gaels 

Our U12 Girls lost to Clan na nGael

The u14 camogie team beat Athleague away 

Rise & Shine Superstars 

Our Nursery programme continues each week on Mondays  from 5:45pm - 6:30pm.Thanks to all parents and coaches for helping make the programme run smoothly.  

O’Rourke Cup 

The McGovern Civils Senior Mens team beat St Brigids on Friday on a scoreline of 0.15 – 0.6. 

Best for Boyle were Daire Cregg, Conor Flanagan, Colly Goldrick, Dylan East and Tadgh McKenna. This win leaves us in a quarter final on the 24th of June in Lisnamult against Ros Gaels at 8pm. 

Junior League 

The Cooney Motors Juniors will play a relegation round of games with St Josephs and Tusk  in the coming weeks of the Division 4 league 

Roscommon Representatives 

Qualifiers 

The draws ben made and fixtures to be confirmed but we play Clare in the next round of the qualifiers. Good luck to our Men next weekend. Clare have been a bogie team for Roscommon the last few years so hopefully we can kick on from here. 

LGFA 

Very well done to  Róisín and Saoirse Wynne and the Roscommon Ladies team who beat Kildare  in the championship. Roscommon’s Mid fielder world champion Lisa O’Rourke was also playing for the ladies

Coaching Training 

Thanks to the large attendance of coaches that came to Their coaching training last week with Peter Carney and Connacht Gaa representatives. 

The ‘Part 2’ of the course will be the practical end where Peter and coaches will be training the u13s in Abbey Park on the 13th of June at 7pm. Thanks to Peter for sharing his vast knowledge and enthusiasm in a very informative and worthwhile education.
