Well done to our McGovern Directional Drilling Seniors on their one point win over Elphin in the Senior Championship in the Abbey Park on Sunday. See match report elsewhere. The next championship outing will be against Strokestown on 28th June. Thanks to our many loyal Club members who assisted in the smooth running of the championship double header in the Abbey Park on Sunday. Thanks also to all who helped tidy up the grounds in the days prior to the games. The lads are scheduled to meet Elphin again on Sunday next in the O’Rourke Cup on Sunday next in the Abbey Park at 2pm.
The Clubroom will be open to receive bags of used clothes in our “Cash for Clobber” project on Saturday next from 11am to 12 noon. Please make a special effort to do a spring clean and donate your bags of used (clean) clothes and footwear.
The Club Rossie draw date has been extended and with Roscommon doing so well at all levels it would be of great assistance to their continued development if those who have not yet joined would do so. Furthermore there are opportunities to win excellent prize. Checkout http://www.clubrossie.ie for more info.

Best wishes are extended to all our players (male and female) who will be commencing the Junior and Leaving Certificate examinations this week.
All players and managers are advised that Abbey Park pitch will be closed for ALL activities during the coming week to enable it to recover from extensive use during the recent inclement weather.
