Boyle LGFA
Boyle LGFA urgently needs female volunteers to assist with
supervising or coaching teams at underage level. It’s a great way to get
involved with our young footballers and the time of year is right as the
evenings get longer.
Please contact any of the team managers, Jim McGrath
Chairperson or Vivienne Moran Children's Officer.
Would you like to walk in the evenings but you’re not
comfortable walking on your own? Why not buddy up with Boyle GAA? We will meet
every Monday and Wednesday @ 7.45pm St Joseph’s Church Car Park. Everyone is
welcome to join us - let’s get outside and maybe even meet some new people!
Lidl Shows Serious Report
Do you shop in Lidl? Then we are calling on your support!

behalf of Boyle LFGA. Each time Lidl Plus users spend more than €30 in-store

reward - from a set of sponsored jerseys, to cash prizes! The scheme runs until
March 27 and there is no limit to the number of stamps collected per customer.
Northern League
The first competitive match of 2022 was played in Sunny
conditions in Abbey Park against Michael Glaveys. A low-scoring first half all
square at 2 points apiece, the game upped the intensity levels and finished
with a flurry at 1.07 to Boyles 10 points. 6 coming from the boot of Colly
Goldbrick. Mark O’Connor looked to have
kicked the winner on the stroke of full time, but Glaveys’ won a kickable free
and levelled, sending the game into EXTRA TIME, as it was a knockout
game. However, both teams agreed to finish on penalties and Boyle won 3-2 with
Rob Kearny saving twice. Colly Goldrick,
David Flanagan( on his debut), and Sean
Purcell all scored from the spot. Encouraging displays from the younger
players coming up from Minor level and bringing new energy to the Boyle team and panel.
The next game in this competition is against Western Gaels
this coming weekend with match details to be confirmed during the week.
